Best armor so far ?

I'm curious about your favorite armour in Jin Sakai's journey.

Mine would be the Sarugami armor from Iki Island DLC. It's very risky IF you don't know how to do perfect parry and dodge BUT you obtain great results after some training in open combats and duels.

Travelers and either the Gosaku or Sakai set. I just wish the refined helmet of the Sakai armor didn't include deer horns. Makes it look too much like a Kawari-Kabuto

- Sarugami is the best (Easy-Hard)

- Kensei is the best on Lethal, or if you are a Way of the Flame build.

On Lethal Health is pointless, Damage resistence is pointless.

Reason being both armors allow you to have infinite resolve to spam Heavenly Strike. Sarugami dodge/Parry is sus on lethal bc it already narrows the parry/dodge windows.

Bloodborne (Yharnam Vestments) armor, of course. Basically a palette for the Kensei Armor but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if it isn't THE sweetest looking outfit in the entire game.

Not to mention that the Kensei armor is the go-to for the single most broken build ie Infinite Resolve build in the game, yeah... Unless you're self-nerfing, this is the go to.

Gosaku Armor for general combat. Samurai Clan Armor is good as well, but Gosaku Armor rewards better tactics, so makes for more enjoyable gameplay. It helps that these two are arguably the best looking armors in the game. I generally use gold die if feeling heroic, red if feeling vengeful, or black if feeling stealthy.

Sarugami Armor for duels. Also a great looking armor, especially if you use the monkey mask instead of the mask that comes with the armor.

Sakai Armor only for standoffs with large groups. I wish this armor was not so ugly.

Traveller's Attire for exploration. I wish this armor had more visual customization and alternative appearances, as most of the game is inevitably played with this equipped. Or some sort of auto-switch to and from this armor in and out of combat would have been nice.

Archery Master's attire for archery competitions only.

Ghost Armor for stealth.

Most time I use Kensei Armour - looks great, good for hybrid playstyle

Surigami is a must have for duels, as increased parry/dodge windows and additional attacks for counters are broken af

Tadayori armor with proper charms totally changes the gameplay and works great for clearing camps/patrols

Gosaku and Clan Sakai armors are good for more ofensive combat

Ronin/Ghost - good for stealth focus

Mongol Commander is aquired too late to be any useful imo

im using traveler .. occasionally the samurai armor for one man army brawls when im bored
