I wish I can hide the Legends Storyteller icons

They are ugly, too big and are completely useless as we can access this mode from the menu. They also get in the way when I want to know what can I upgrade in the main town and the cursor lock on on this icon instead.

I wish I can experience the campaign without this useless intrusion from the multiplayer DLC. I would pay for a mod to hide these icons.

I have no idea why there are so many of them too. If they wanted to put it in the campaign there could have been just one in the first zone big temple area and that's enough. Fast travel takes like 2 seconds.

They want to put it on your face so they can turn the game into a multiplayer focused game and monetize the hell out of it. It's quite simple.

closest example is farcry5 with there "ARCADE" mode, honestly that and legends operate near identical ingame

This is worse, as the original game didn't have these annoying icons. I played the original version of the game back in 2020, and not having these "Legends Storyteller" in every corner was a much better experience.
As Mr Fantastic said above, it's to shove constantly to our faces that there's a multiplayer option. Dear god, I hate multiplayer stuff in my single player games.
