Any Hint for the perfect time to go to the DLC Island Iki ?

Is there a good time to go there or its not important ?

Historically, this is content after completing the main story of the game. If you go there early you may have some minor spoilers for the main plot.
You get a warning that enemies are harder on Iki but you they are really not that hard. The "Shaman" enemy is kinda annoying cuz he sings and "reinforce" other enemies until he stop singing or die.
And you get some gear and skills that you can use in main story. You can fast travel to the main island after doing like 2-3 main quests on Iki.

If you're heavy on lore it doesn't matter if you do this after completing the base game or somewhere mid to late Act 2. There is no dialogue/ conflicting spoilers for the rest of your playthrough.

I guess it depends on how you handled the part leading up to the boat ride. If you stomped it and had zero issues, that time is now. If not, perhaps later.
