Skipping cutscenes.

Is there a way to do it that's hidden? or some kind fix? I'm an hour into this, and I've done nothing but sit through this garbage.

I mean, there kind of is a rush. I don't have unlimited time for games, so when I can I'd rather play them than watch them.

I mean, I wouldn't know but I highly doubt it... I used it anyway. Considering we have a couple of posts already about people cheating in *multiplayer* it stands to reason neither Sony nor this game in particular care.

Add: If you are really afraid of Sony, just play the game while logged out of PSN.

It's absurd to not have the option to skip this lame, boring & stereotypical narrative. I listen to music loudly while I play, I haven't paid any attention to the story because it interests me zero.

The game is HEAVY on story. The first hour is straight up showing exactly WHY Jin has to go down the Ghost path if he wants to save Tsushima. Once you get through the tutorial (aka pre-Horse), you'll be able to explore wherever you want (but really should do story to unlock Skills and such).

Apparently a story driven narrative game yet I've completely ignored all of it just to enjoy the combat & explore the open world. The characters are all bland, absolutely no diversity. Nothing engaging or interesting to me about the story. An option to not skip cutscenes in 2024 is baffling.
I dislike Jin as a main character, absolutely no personality, why is there no character creator instead?

only NG+ allows for skipping of cutscenes, dont ask me why i could tell you why they did that, though seeing how NG+ wasnt in the game at launch it was likely a "OH SH!T" courtesy by the devs

1 - the game was put on youtube via stitched together movies and the new player remembers all the beats and just wants to you know... play the game
2 - there a returning player from either ps4 or ps5 and want to start fresh without every upgrade from NG+

Im with you 100% lol. Might be a story driven game, but there are those of us who dont care about the story and are here for the gameplay. I couldnt care less about the story. Sure, its well acted and the voices are great, but I dont care lol.
