I love all the things i can do with the Sony touchpads but when you game heavily, their sticks do not last for ♥♥♥♥. I'm currently main-ing the KK2P while I have the 2 aforementioned Dualsense in a drawer next to me.
And before people go on about dirt, I used to disassemble the DS4's and hit em with canned air to extend their lifespan before I'd eventually go to Walmart buy a new one, swap shells, and return the old on in the new shell the next day. (they never checked serial numbers but in case they did...) This was faster than going through the warranty process and achieved the same effect for me and Sony
If you don't have Halls Effect sticks you will get drift eventually no matter what; how fast is just a matter of how much you game with em.
1 note about the KK2P before I go: it has a fake deadzone that does this weird buffer thing with input acceleration, so disable the fake deadzone (the manual tells you how) and set a small one in Steam if you do pick one up. You want at least a tiny one or just breathing on the controller will move the stick; they are insanely sensitive.
7??? 7????
What the heck are you doing?? I still have my first Dualsense from PS5 release and it works great.
Definitely a you problem mate, gatta learn to treat your peripherals better.
stop buying cheap controllers
Every potentiometer based analogue stick will eventually develop drift due to wear or dirt and as all of the console companies use potentiometer based analogue sticks you will get them drifting sooner or later
you have the worst taste in noodles btw
