I like the fast travel in this game
More games need fast travel like this, one thing I dislike about some open world games is when it takes forever to travel between distances. I love the implementation of the fast travel that is similar to Elden Ring & it saves alot of time making it feel less of a hassle/chore to play than certain other games where it can take forever to travel between distances.

I only fast travel for a few certain things but majority of the time I just run everywhere because it's enjoyable. The lands are fun to explore.

First of all, you need some education. Rather than playing non-stop, you ought to read a bit how Engines work, how development works in 2020+ and why it "takes forever to travel between distances". Some Engines load the entire content when the map loads, so it takes MORE time to load the entire map; while others load portions and, as you move, the Engine instantiates decals and solidifies meshes. It's called load balancing, so it doesn't take a huge toll on your CPU/GPU. That you'd rather get everything loaded once the level starts and be done with it.. that's your opinion and probably purely based on your hardware capabilities. Keep in mind others don't have the luxury of expensive hardware beasts to satisfy some need to get all loaded in a go.

I choose not to use fast travel in games anymore whenever possible. I started doing this in Cyberpunk and my enjoyment of open world games increased alot. If your game needs fast travel, then the open world created is a failure.

I dont think this game needs it
