PSA - Don’t waste your playthrough feeling like you have to wear the Traveller’s Attire. All fog clears after defeating the last mongol camp for that section of the island. Guiding Wind can lead you to all the collectibles later.

No need to zigzag across the map clearing all the fog as I have seen many players/streamers doing. Just clear the camps and the entire section of the island will be revealed.

Best use of the Traveller's Attire is to put it on briefly after clearing a camp so you don’t miss any records/ artifacts to limit back-tracking later.

The only thing you might miss by not wearing this armour is stumbling upon Sashimono Banners (which have a bell-chime audio queue when you're close to one anyway). But again, these can be found with the Guiding Wind later so it’s not worth wearing the Travellers Attire all the time just so you don’t miss the occasional flag.
