I know of course. However a simple text is just a terrible solution... Id be much more OK if my character just said "No, I must finish my job" or something like that... It would be much more acceptable IMHO. You know, anything that fits the overal atmosphere
I for one just started the game and realized I needed to go back and do something at a village I had just cleared...but I went and talked to the lady and that started a Tale...
At this point I didn't even know what a "Tale" is/was or that it caused the open world to become a closed world.
Now I'm almost certainly going to forget to go back to that village and complete what I'd missed.
Most of us that play open world games expect that the open world is open....how and why would we expect that the game is open then closed open and then closed. It's not like the game explained that to us. Or if it did I certainly missed it.
And the over arching point....it's kind of annoying and frustrating, but now I know...well kind of...I still don't know what makes a mission a "Tale." I guess just starting a quest?
