Any fix for the crash at final mission?

Crashing at the duel against Shimura every few seconds, the device hangs and crash to desktop

I had this issue too, I just decided to knock the difficulty down to easy and kill him as fast as possible. Really lame but it worked for me. For me sometimes it would crash instantly other times I'd have 5 mins. Really hope they fix it soon.

Yeah, on lethal this fight can be pretty hard. And my best attempt resulted in a crash, pretty much with the fight won.

I'm so sad- I'm having this crash too. I can't even get past the first second or two before it crashes. I tried turning down my graphics but it hasn't done much.

Also having this issue. Really frustrating to have a fatal error like this on the final mission.
For me it seems to crash the most on retrying the fight or when LS is going for his thrust attack

I managed to somewhat "fix" this issue by limiting my fps to 60 with rivatuner. It still crashed a couple of times but then there was a run where it didn't crash for 10+ minutes during the Shimura fight which let me finish the mission. Not sure if this actually works, but I've been trying multiple solutions and it seems like this is the only one that works. Let me know if this works for anyone else.

Yes, RX 6600 with the 24.4.1 drivers

i've heard ppl with amd gpu often getting crash in this game idk why

For me disabling radeon anti-lag solved the crashes

I think its frame rate. Lowered all settings, limited to 60 fps in exclusive fullscreen and killed him without problems, on easy though. Didnt had patience to wait

Weren't both the PS 4 and the PS 5 built with AMD cards? It seems kind of odd that that the PC port would have issues with a card that the game was designed for.

I've had no crashes for the final mission-ever with my Nvidia RTX3070 and it's a mid level card that;s now two generations behind the curve. I let the NVidia app pick my settings but it set most of them on the max settings. I'm only averaging 60 fps but that's because I'm playing the game on a 27 inch 2K IPS monitor set to 2550 x 1440 resolution.

I will say that this game seems to make my GPU run a bit hot, but since my motherboard will not support Win 11, I'll hopefully be buying another new Cyberpower custom rig before October. Sigh!
