But yeah, there are some that are actually mad at it because they wanna feel they own something that others can't enjoy if they don't join them on that platform. It's stupid in the end, just being arrogant.
Imagine if pc gamers had to get mad at some game that started on pc and later on was ported to consoles. They don't say it's exclusive on pc but when I see "only on playstation" I read "only on playstation for X months/years", and once they are done milking the exclusive so people got their consoles they move on to other platforms. It's business.
And also yes, more players is a good thing for the game including more chances of new content or sequels, besides more presence on the internet than if it was just played by a single platform fans. And there are many people that won't buy a console for a single game they want when they aren't interested in anything else.
