[SOLVED] Impossible to install PESEDIT on the Steam version of PES 2013

Like I said, I have been trying all day, whenever I installa pesedit (any version) and try to run the game it says there is no game installed, I have been searching in google about it and I don't find any specific guide to do it, is the steam version really this ♥♥♥♥ed up? Am I doing something wrong? This is the guide I've been trying to follow (the only one I found):

I fixed it by following phdocill [ENG] instructions, this is what I did:
Install/download PES 2013 normal with steam, once it's installed go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapp\common\ and copied the whole "Pro Evolution Soccer 2013" folder into my Documents, once that's done, you install pesedit in the new PES location (my documents).

Now you proceed to create the registry entry you need to run the game normal, open new notepad entry, and copy this:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KONAMI\PES2013]
"code"="HERE GOES YOUR CD-KEY"
"installdir"="C:\\Users\\Yourcomputernamegoeshere\\Documents\\Pro Evolution Soccer 2013\\"
"version"="1.00.0000"

Once you copied this into the notepad, click Save as... and name it pes2013.reg (just like that). Now you right click this file and select "Open with../Registry editor", click Yes and it's done! You can run PES 2013 from the .exe in documents folder, or from the file named "PESEDIT".

If you don't know your CD key, go to steam and right click on PES.
I hope this helps people with my same issue.

PS: Try to install and download the lastest Pesedit version, I have the 3.6 one.

No , you can download PESEdit 3.6 on steam version PES , and it works 100% , I tried it and it works , try this torrent for PESEdit 3.6 Patch compatible with all latest updates :

Just Install it to PES Directory and Run it , and it will work !

Dude, it's not about the pesedit version...Did you read what I said? If it works for you I'd like to see a screenshot of you playing an online match selecting the Premier League teams with their names correct and such.

I just changed my konami ID and I can not enter with the new Konami ID , I dn't knw what to do ....

You can't change your Konami ID :S It's linked to your game

If you have followed all the steps in that guide, then the problem you may be having is that you are still trying to launch the game via Steam. If you moved your whole folder then this will not work. You need to run the pes2013.exe from it's new folder destination.

Yep I've done that,I use the .exe in the new folder, but it's still not working, I guess I'm doing something wrong registry related, because I don't get it. If anyone who has done this (and managed to play online with it) could add me to be my guide I'd appreciate it much.

I tried this, but I'm unable to attach the kitserver to the PES2013.exe file. It's telling me that it is unrecognizable. So in game I have blue kits. Any suggestions.

hey i followed your directions exactly, i used the new 4.0 pesedit. when i go to launch the game it says that i have it running already. can you offer any help

Hey guys it's been more than a month since the last time I played so I'm not sure if they changed anything and it stopped working, but following those steps I managed to run the game, can't really do much more :C

I just bought the game and downloaded PESedit 4.1. Worked like a charm with your instructions Zubi, thank you. I added a step where I made a backup of my registry first with export in regedit in Windows. After following Zubi's guide I launched PESedit and clicked on PESedit patch to start the game. So far I have won the Champions League with Sporting Gijon and the World Cup with Sweden on easiest settings. :)
