Where is protons .wine/prefix folder (fake c: drive etc) located?

I am trying to fiddle with some games to make them work with Proton, but can't for the life of me find it's prefix folder location/s

ah ok, then it is likely the app id? My problem is that in this case, the game Gauntlet, when looking for it's "Arrowhead" folder neither locate, mlocate or find yielded any results so far. so i am a bit worried :p But many thanks for the info, i will have a look in compatdata for the appid

Yup you are right, that is the location, the problem with this game is that it does not start at all, therefore not creating the folders i was looking for, well well, on to the next game
