CS 1.6 (BETA) -console issue

If i add -console switch to library on Counter-Strike(Beta) right click /properities /startup settings (or something like that in english language).

Then console apears in game after start i can use commands if commands have this char (_) something like fps_max 100 then i see instead of fps max 100 without the char (_)-but it is no too much bigger bug.

after i close the console i can not open it with standart ~ key.

I have ubuntu 12.04 32bit, 3GB DDRAM, nVidia 8800GTS 320MB

I have the same problem with the underscore visibility on Gentoo 32b nVidia KDE.

As for the console it helped me to remap it to another key in config.cfg and a caveat is that it opens the console in game but not in menus, but that can be goldsrc thing.

remap working but all problem is the num-keys with function to write characters with SHIFT..
It is all keys ~1234567890%= not work in game

That actually works for me OK even if I use "cs" layout and not "en" (in which case it should type numbers with shift only).

yes that's my keyboard layout I use in KDE, and I can write numbers in hl.exe console too.
