What's the worst linux distro?

As the title say, what do you think the worst linux distro is?

I think Ubuntu and Debian is pretty bad because I had Ubuntu before and it was a horrible experience trying to install things.

CentOS is used by most servers worldwide, Ubuntu is bad because it locks up root as default, although you could unlock it, it makes a server operator life hard.

Ubuntu is good for PC but Fedora is best for PC and laptops.

First of all you should never run as root. You don't need that kind of power for simple tasks. And Ubuntu isn't bad it is just a matter of opinion. I personally like Ubuntu because it looks great and is easy to setup out of the box without the need of all kinds of tools.

Worst distro? I vote for "any random Ubuntu-spinoff without actual plan". Most known distros are pretty decent, at least definitely not the worst ones.

Fedora and CentOS is pretty good. I use Fedora for my laptop and CentOS for my servers.

Personally I dislike their stupid PPA stuff. It makes everything extremely complicated. First you have to add it in some freakish way and you can't even browse for PPAs in a centralized place. The way Arch handels it with official and a user repository is a thousand times better. People can vote and comment in the AUR and the rest is available from the official repos. Pacman is way faster and easier to learn and use than apt too.

Ubuntu is best at everything, installing apps, usability, speed, stability, etc.. Fedora? trolling? :)

Whichever works best for you and the task at hand. For some things and some people this will be Ubuntu, whether it's on the desktop, server, or embedded device. For others it's the perfect fit.
