Bogus key length on CD Key... Invalid hashed CD key. Any ideas?
So I can run CS1.6 for Linux perfectly fine, but I cannot connect to any server. Terminal spits out:

Bogus key length on CD Key...

Invalid hashed CD key.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Or know what the issue is? I've purchased the complete cstrike pack awhile back - I don't own hl1, though.


EDIT: thought I should mention I'm running Arch64

sounds like there's an issue with the libraries cstrike is using to check the hash.

rebooted after a system upgrade just now (i did one earlier to no avail) and it works.

Edit: now the issue is file consistency when connecting to other servers

Just found my mistake: Make sure Hostname/Ip-Adress-Configuration is correct. I was missing my hostname (from /etc/hostname) in my hosts file. Now /etc/hosts look something like this
127.0.0.1 localhost my-fany-hostname
And it works
