ahhh i see, thanks for the quick response!
If I moved it, how would I go about launching Steam? Is it possible to save space by somehow only having one copy of TF2 that works under Linux and Windows rather than one for each?
Loving that, I must add.
I try /media/[username]/Iomega_HDD/SteamLinux/Steam/steam but I'm getting a "Please pick a valid Steam content directory" message...
Asking any game to "Browse local files" gives no response from the system. No window open.
Launching a search from File Manager turns out no results.
Looking into ~/.local/share/, there's no "Steam" folder.
No ~/.steam/ folder either.
I feel rather stupid, but I can't find Steam anywhere.
