Specific Animated Background Issue

Hello there,

While testing Linux distros (Mint and Arch), I've noticed that the animated profile backgrounds for Miss Neko: Pirates do not animate within the Steam client. They do work within a web browser like Firefox. 

I was curious, so I tested the animated profile backgrounds on the Steam Deck in desktop mode within the Steam client, and they work there.

So my question is, is there something I need to install to get these working on other distros?

Try the gpu accelerated rendering toggle in settings.

Hey, I enabled GPU-accelerated rendering, and that did not fix the issue. I didn't check before, but it seems that the mini profiles for Miss Neko: Pirates don't work either.

Is there anything else I could try?
