Steam Won't Install, Repository Issue?
When I try to install on my Chromebook Pixel through crouton, it tells me that the ip address for the repository wasn't found or wasn't responding. Is this a temporary server issue or is there a fix I need to do?

If you can use .deb files, download steam from the website. If you can't, you'll need to find another repository and install it from there.

I'm not sure ChromeOS can fill all the dependencies needed for Steam. It's a very stripped down distro.

He's using Crouton, which just allows you to run Ubuntu alongside Chrome OS. Since there's a networking error, it's not got to do with Chrome OS or the chromebook. I suggest downloading from Steam's website.

Cool! :D

Then in this case, it could be that the repo link is broken, or the repo is down. I too suggest to download from the Steam website.
