Can't select Wired Connection 1 when setting up Steam

Trying to setup Steam on my Zotac box.

I've got it downloaded and installed, but when I run it for the first time, I get to "Configure your network settings"

Wired Connection 1 is listed, and I can select it, but hitting "Connect" doesn't do anything, and the Done is greyed out on the bottom?

I can confirm that it has internet, as xbmc running on the same box connects just fine.

Is this after it is installed? Can you manually configure it?

This is after it's installed, and during the initial first-run setup it goes through.
How would I manually configure it?

any other ideas? I'd like to try and get this up and running so I can test out In-Home Streaming
