Installing Teamspeak 3 on Linux Fedora 22
Hey all. I'm trying to get Teamspeak 3 running on my laptop (Linux Fedora 22), but I'm hitting a bit of a roadblock.

Don't know the exact explanation why, but getting it installed isn't as simple as clicking the install button on the website or run one line in the terminal.

So how do I go about getting it installed and have it appear in the applications tray?

All help will be appreciated.

In your terminal you go to the folder where you saved the run file and type " ./TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_amd64.run". If it doesnt work, type "chmod +x TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_amd64.run" and then the first command. There is also "mumble" in the fedora repository, which is as good as teamspeak.

So I downloaded the following file: TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_x86-3.0.14.run file from the TeamSpeak website. Ran that in the terminal with the first command.

Then I got the TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_x86 folder which I placed in my 'Home' place. I can get the program running by running the .sh file in my terminal.

I can get the program running now. The next challenge is to get it to the point where it is an icon in my application tray.

Seems like you go into the options and turn the tray on. It's been awhile since I last ran the program.
