Ctrl hotkey doesn't work in steam overlay
Using Fedora 41 with GNOME on wayland, everything up to date. Ctrl hotkey doesn't work in steam overlay. Any solutions to this?

Problem is that default hotkeys for game recordings is ctrl + f11, so I need to change it to something else.

Looks like only Ctrl + f11 doesn't really work, ctrl + S or another is working. I don't see any similar hotkeys in GNOME

Apologies for a non-answer. I have not tried the overlay at all since some tragic misbehavior circa May 2023. It sounds as if, for the most part, the overlay is behaving well for you? Curious since we have the same basic setup. (I'm sill on Fedora 40.)

Check your system keyboard shortcuts to see if CTRL+F11 is taken already.

Looks like it's GNOME problem, because hyprland doesn't have this issue

I found what it is - this is clipboard indicator addon for gnome panel. Thread closed.
