Install a game from a msi file Windows Installer Package

Hello,
I wish to add a no steam game, wich is a msi file, like a setup, but in a Windows Installer Package. But, after add a no steam game, select the msi file, set to force proton, the setup don't run when I click on Start. How to add to steam a game wich is in a package setup msi file ? The game is pokémon tcg online:

The game works fine with wine 5, but I want to use steam with proton.

Unpack it (WINEPREFIX=somewhere msiexec /i file.msi) then set whatever executable it unpacks as the non steam game.

(Download from that site was very slow so I didn't test.)

Hi! How did this resolve for you, did the game work better with proton than wine or PlayOnLinux, lutris?

I tried various things trying to add the pokemon tcg - what worked was installing the .msi file via lutris (it gave some errors about a .bat file during the install) then manually assigning the executable file to the resulting game .exe. Then it runs but there are some issues with the virtual keyboard popping under the application - I got around that in desktop mode by starting the tutorial to access the settings and changing to windowed mode, then using that to put in my username/pw, then turning it back to fullscreen. Adding the game link to steam via lutris let me launch from steam mode, however mouse control only works via the touchscreen (maybe there are some settings or control options I could mess with to fix this), also there's still some issues with the keyboard popping under, but I did have some success with pressing the steam+x shortcut about 3 times.

Oh, sorry this post was talking in general but I was just talking about getting it working on steam deck. YMMV but probably you'd have it easier than I did since you don't have to mess with virtual mouse/keyboard issues. Lutris should be fine for just adding it to steam
