GE Proton, Luxtorpeda & Proton TKG
Hey, Whats the difference between GE Proton, Luxtorpeda & Proton TKG? I use GE Proton but what about the other two. Are they worth using?

Thanks

I just stick with GE Proton since Glorious knows what he's doing.

Okay fair enough.:risky_laugh: Is there a place where I can go to message him when something is not working or needs fixing?

Yeah, Glorious or all Valve all the way.

... message him where you got it from ... Github. That's half the point of github.

actually, looks like he's diabled 'issues'

see item 10.4 (especially 10.4.1 and 10.4.4) here for context on Luxtorpeda vs. custom versions of proton

not all compatibility layers are proton (for running windows games on linux), luxtorpeda is to integrate alternative game engines that are installed on linux to steam...

...and those may use windows game resources, but not necessarily, and they replace the original game executable instead of running it

Not sure about the different tweaks to Proton carried GE vs. TKG though

Thanks everyone, I'll stick with Proton and GE. I did check his Github, and it had no issues, so wondered if he had somewhere else you could send issues.
