Fixing FPS for some games (such as Forza horizon 4 and ark)
first compile dxvk async
https://github.com/Sporif/dxvk-async
Instructions

Patch dxvk with dxvk-async.patch
Set the environment variable DXVK_ASYNC=1 or use dxvk.enableAsync = true in dxvk.conf
To compare with stock dxvk, rename or delete your state and shader caches
Use DXVK_HUD=pipelines to see the pipeline count go up (hopefully) without stutter

on steam go to properties launch parameters and put in
"dxvk_async=1"

see if that improves your framerates,for Forza it kind of did so for me though,it's gone from 25~ FPS mid-high to 40~ on same settings

It simply makes your games high priority. Using niceness for example. Mostly helps for cpu limited scenarios tho.

It is in Archs repo for both 64 and 32 bit. Don't know about Ubuntu tho

Installed,ark still runs like crap,but I guess that's ark being ark since in Forza I got a little FPS increase

But don't async shaders mean that after maybe a few hours of gameplay, async or not won't matter since all the shaders and whatnot are loaded in?

Good work, good post, can't afford Forza, but I still play Forza 5.
