Lego City Undercover does not run
The game does not run if I am logged in at my computer. However, if I remote desktop into my computer I can run it in the remote desktop session and I can run it using remote play from another computer.

looks like you might be missing some graphics lib, if the remote session uses graphics stack from the guest

you should have both the 64bit and 32bit libs for vulkan and for opengl installed

which distro (and version if not rolling-release)?
are other games running fine?
which gpu brand and model? opensource or proprietary drivers? default distro version or from some 3rd-party source/repo?
I'd recommend installing protonGE, a community made proton version, which aims to use the most up to date wine and dxvk versions.
If you are like me and too lazy to install it yourself manually, protonup-qt is a simple tool which automates the process. It is available on Flathub:

I am not expert but isn't a gt 710 kinda old?
Or did you have problems running it on windows on the other hand?

Maybe it can also be a ubuntu specific problem, since you use the lts, version. It is very stable, but as the name says, it's from early 2020, so it comes with quite old packages.
But there are also positive reviews on ubuntu lts so it could be anything. Maybe nvidia drivers???
Sorry I'm out. Never played lego games on linux before
Maybe install multiple protonGE versions or try other stock proton versions.

710 is old, but I believe meets system specs, and newer games work pretty well. I never tried it with windows on this machine. I'll keep trying protonGE versions. Thanks again for your help
