athlon 3000g best graphics driver ??

I got a athlon 3000g just now and it seems i cant find a AMDGPU-PRO driver that works, so im using the open source that auto installs, im a fairly newer linux user and would like input on which driver to use ? AMDGPU-PRO i think does not support this apu, it freezes every time during instillation when it says its building ok thanks

this. if I'm not mistaken this CPU uses Radeon Vega graphics, it should be covered in standard driver.

yep, the default opensource driver driver is fine for AMD GPUs

at most you'll need a newer version than the one shipped by that linux distribuition

So, when i installed ubuntu studio, i had a screen garbled problem, and i had to go edit some file someone told me to edit, put the NoTear in there, was good, started CSGO and i had some artifacts , and some textures of player models were very garbled looking, i havent tried it again yet but i have installed linux graphics headers is there anything else i should install? i saw a post that mentioned installing a few things from github, but i dont know how to install them they mentioned the commands "make" and "make install" which worked on previous versions of ubuntu ive used, but that does not complete installing the source code, once again im sorry, ive only used linux for a few years and finally made the jump to make it my main/only OS. At least until something better comes around or i go to unix.

do you have issues in all games or is it only CS:GO? Radeon Vega can be picky, it is not clear if it's an issue with game or an issue with the driver in general.

I dont know yet, Cat on linux, i mostly just play CSGO so i want to get it working.

What Ubuntu Studio version are you using?

x_wing , newest release. and did dist-upgrade afterwords

AMD_DEBUG=nodma %command% in my game launch options fixed the graphical problem in counter strike im not sure why someone said to do it. thanks.
