Trying to save my pc with tiny core plus
Hello there! Fist of all: sorry but English is not my native language, I'm trying to make myself clear as water.

On the last update of windows 10 my PC broke, there was no way to fix it.

I'm tired of the problematic windows update, I was only using it because of the gamepass but this time a gave up.

I have only one computer and one pen drive, so before my work, I run to a lan house and try to download pop os(I'm in love with this system) but I only had 10 minutes(seriously).

Without much time I remembered of the smallest distribution, and start searching for it.

I found 2 nice ones:slacks and tiny core plus, I made a live USB with multiboot tool, at home only tiny core worked but the GUI not show up!

I have tried to install Xversa and Xprogs with the tce-load command and it works but there is no way to install on my hard drive/open terminal or download any app....

Probably because my live USB has no persistent file, so I'm now trying to install first on my ssd them download Xversa to have a GUI to install apps and make my pop os live usb.

Can someone help me?

your main problem right now is that you need to fetch an .iso and make it run an installer to end up with a proper linux distro on the SSD... but the only OS you have is in the pendrive...

...so you can either try to make tiny core run from a partition in that ssd and once that is done and tested, fetch some distro's .iso and burn to pendrive...

or

...fetch an .iso with liveboot and burn it to the ssd, to have a gui and once that is done and tested working, you won't need the pendrive, burn the same iso to it...

...in either case:

1) don't overwrite the pendrive until something works on the PC

2) you don't really need a gui to "wget" a linux .iso from the internet and "dd" it to the ssd

I just wonder how you're talking to us right now... because:

1) if you're on an android phone with enough space and an usb OTG cable you can also download the .iso to your phone and use EtchDroid USB writer (no root required) to burn it to the pendrive even if all goes :
https://f-droid.org/packages/eu.depau.etchdroid

2) if you have an sd card and an usb adapter for it you effectively have a second pendrive

I'm trying the first option you gave me.

I was thinking about tomorrow go to the lan house again and put a "bigger" distribution, maibe linux mint but if you say, I will leave like this.

For some reason here on Brazil almost no phone come with a otg cable, so I don't have it.

And with a 32 GB phone I never needed an SD card....

I'm so unprepared because currently I'm living in a very small town....

Turning an Android Phone Into a Bootable Linux Environment

Don't have a USB flash drive or a USB to OTG cable? If your Android device is rooted, you can try an alternative approach.

DriveDroid is a useful utility that lets you boot your PC directly over a USB cable using any ISO or IMG file stored on your phone. You just need your Android smartphone or tablet and a suitable cable---no flash drives required.
