Hello, I bought yesterday my AOE III; Complete Edition, this is not working because it dosent accept my CD KEY (I write it exactly as it is), because it says something like "Error to load DDL generator PID. Impossible to found DDL....

I have read about installing "corefonts" in WInetricks but I can not, all the time is appearing to my a error saying that I am using a 64 bit version and not a 32bit one.

FROM WINETRICKS:

"You are using a 64-bit WINEPREFIX. Note that many verbs only install 32-bit versions of packages. If you encounter problems, please retest in a clean 32-bit WINEPREFIX before reporting a bug."

And in the list of fonts, in corefonts status: cached

Check protondb:

https://www.protondb.com/app/105450

As far I remember, this was the solution: "protontricks 105450 mfc42 winxp l3codecx"

protontricks is a software that allows you to install/uninstall software/libraries in your proton prefixes (a.k.a. the environment required to run your Windows game in Linux). The solution I copy pasted is a command line that you must run in order to install mfc42 & l3codecx libraries in the Age III prefix (105450 is the steam appid of your game).

So, what I suggest you is to install protontricks (https://github.com/Matoking/protontricks) and then run the command I copy pasted.

Hello, thank you, I did everything well, so I installed protontricks and so on by the terminal, and when I try to install something like this one (protontricks 105450 mfc42 winxp l3codecx), this is the message:

protontricks (ERROR): No Proton installation found in config.vdf
protontricks (ERROR): Active Proton installation could not be found automatically.
Proton installation could not be found!
