EDIT:
The soundtrack and the ambience, I dig it.
Gameplay does have some glitches, but it is doable.
I am quite certain to have the indicated library files installed, for example, the ASCII Sector requires the same and runs fine.
EDIT:
Wait, why is there anything printed consecutively further after the .SO extension?
@'Aoi Blue', dunno what you talking about?
Allow me to translate: Aoi is kind of politely asking you not to mix topics in this thread.
I don't see why you feel puzzled or annoyed by that.
Either the error with Cataclysm you have posted here belongs to another already existing thread or you could create a new one just for it... its better for everyone, including you, because help on that issue here will probably be diluted by people chatting over the original topic.
The Linux community is very helpful, but there is certain ways you go about asking for help.
In this case it's regarding the fact that you don't derail an existing thread on a forum.
Maybe now is a good time to try it again
I was thinking of spinning up a FreeCiv extended mode mod utilizing some of the engine feature in a Civilization style 4x world conquest game. The big addition would be a large number of "small wonders" which can be built once per a nation, but every nation can have one, and a bunch of additional great wonders based on various historical legends and real world items. Finally, a bunch of late game infrastructure and units. Including an automated system of numbered upgrades for relying on "Future tech" to upgrade certain units and infrastructure by algorithmic projection.
