Steam for Linux

"Normal" and "GSYNC" text in upper right corner of every window
Just as the title says, I see the text "NORMAL" and "GSYNC" (when a game starts) in the top right corner of every window and menu in the Steam client. I only see this on the Linux side, not in Windows (I have a duel boot system). I'm not sure when this started or if I've enabled something by mistake.

Is anyone else seeing this? How do I turn this infuriating thing off?

Open Nvidia X Server Settings, and go to OpenGL Settings.
You'll find the "Enable G-SYNC Compatible Visual Indicator", uncheck it.

If you have any apps/games running, you need to restart them to get rid of it.

It worked! I can't even remember turning it on, but I must have enabled it when I got my new monitor. Thanks for the help!
