Testing it right now.

After adding winepak repo Apps available in Gnome Software for me. I can install them from terminal as well.

I do hope it's fine, I mean, when winetricks does it it's technically no less OK I think, and nothing was done to it so far (as far as I know).
it's a neat idea, hopefully they will manage it properly without problems.

looks like a nice idea. can you maybe re-use the install scripts from https://lutris.net/ ? They have gotten many games working.

Scripts and lessons learned from Lutris project can be very useful there of course. If you have some time please advice them this on their GitHub https://github.com/winepak/applications/issues

I tested League of Legends: Client work, but game itself doesnt. I already reported bug on GitHub and to upstream (Riot Games).

Other thing which i noticed and should been fixed is: when you remove application - there is massive data files still continues to store in:

/home/user/.var/app

i totally see your point - and depending on the game it may never "just work" (i.e. because of regular updates which break everything all the time...), but as lutris shows, in many cases it really is possible to bring the "just works" level pretty damn high.
