Pipe dream ideas
Let me just state these are pipe dream ideas and would require a mountain of work and thus shouldn't be considered all that much, especially for a game in pre-alpha. As they already got enough on their plate. (I only put it under this tab cause they are still ideas) That said I just had to share it to get it off my mind.

1. Add a heaven mechanic where hell is for cleansing souls where heaven is for corrupting them. The two sides will be competing with each other over the souls. Pure souls go up, corrupt souls go down. Heaven is all about purifying souls in the overworld and hell is all about corrupting souls in the overworld. The two sides are part of the same coin but taking different approaches and are incentives to protecting the humus.

2. Rival kingdoms competing for land. This could spark wars leading to sudden influxes of souls on both sides. (Like we really need another thing to do that) or they can work together to over come challenges as if one's economy get wrecked the other can keep going or be trade partner.

3. Flesh out the lizard folk to mirror the humus and mirror their hell/heaven too which would allow MP or just to be another version of idea 2's but locked to perma foes.

4. Just mix the previous ideas for a bit MP match and create a ton of chaos. (Does everything need to have a MP? No SP is also very important it's just nice to have some crazy fun with friends in your favorite SP game from time to time is all.)

Ahah, these ideas do seem tasty!

Small insight:

1. Heaven was actually part of the game's early (very early) design in some form, but was put aside so we could focus on a better experience with the core systems (otherwise it was quite overwhelming). Plus it was super expensive to do. We would be thrilled to visit Heaven at some point in the game's future, can't promise anything but know it's on our dream list too!

2. Same for this one, it's on a list somewhere. :D

3. Could be nice. We love Guacas. The words "Guacatapult" and "Guacasaurus" have been uttered a few times now. Again, not promising anything!

4. We discussed MP several times now, and it feels unrealistic for Sintopia as it is. The discussion is not over, we may consider it at some point in the (far) future, but nothing planned for the 1.0 Release.

Well nice to know I had some of the same thought trains you lot had and yes I still agree it's a bit too much for now.

i know heven isn't something you have planned

but 1 idea i have for it is a late game building to remove saints a stair way to heaven that only saints would be willing to take do to its length

if anyone else did they could attempt to take it and fall down after a bit a slow building but could be a way to remove saints without waiting days for them to break and take up time in the already long lines

And if they fall from heaven they would rightfully be angry gaining allot of a stat that prevented them. lets say 50 in the stat that they are highest in as a punishment for sending wrong types

an idea for adding a simple heaven without adding the huge stuff
