MIC WONT WORK

i have a problem, when im in a match i can use the vc freely but when its time to do a meeting and to everyone to talk my mic wont work, then the match its resumed and will work again, why is that

There's some weird mic issues with the game. I even completely lose sounds when I tried resetting my mic

i can start a round just fine, i can then randomly lose all ability to talk. hearing people is iffy at times after that starts happening.. sometimes i hear the dead people and twice ive heard kira and kira follower talking over their transceivers...

Ive tried to get through it for many games and i finally gave up.. its unplayable at the moment like that.

My mic cut out of the meeting rooms for around half of the times I started talking. Not sure what VoIP they're using for this but it sucks. Lots of things need fixing

Same No matter what mic I use on my PC the first part of the match it reads my voice, and then the rest of the match it doesn't. It's even sentenced me to limbo where I can only hear and talk to the people that are dead despite me being alive. I don't have that issue in the PS5 version.

Maybe the problem is in crossplay between PC and Console.
I'm also having a problem where I hear voice chat from players who died, in which I can hear who is the possible Kira or L.

I had a fun bug where I can hear the 2 Kira players talking to each other in a transceiver. I couldn't exploit this as it was a group of randoms and I did joke that I wiretap them.

Thank God I'm not the only one. This bug needs to be fixed or they need to make it where spectators can't see who L or Kira is. Because I mute my voice chat now cuz if I don't I get spoiled and that is not fair to the other players.

Yep, I keep getting this too. On the one hand it sucks, on the other hand I'm glad I'm not the only person having these problems

The more the game goes on the more buggy it feels. Microphones giving you the wrong channel I feel is one of those things. Sometimes, you'll be treated like Team Kira and can hear the transceiver. Sometimes, you'll be treated like you're dead. Sometimes, you'll be treated like a spectator which has no direct VC with the players at all.

If you're experiencing problems with your microphone, try the following steps:

Open Windows Sound Settings

Press the Windows key or click the search bar.
Type "Change system sounds" and select it from the results.
Navigate to Microphone Settings

In the Sound window, go to the Recording tab.
Locate your microphone in the list.
Right-click your microphone and select Properties.
Change Advanced Settings

Go to the Advanced tab in the Microphone Properties window.
Uncheck the option: "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device."
Save Changes

Click Apply, then OK.

Tried it, makes no difference.
Also not really sure WHY it would make a difference, the fact the game can't seem to tell if you're Team L, Team Kira, dead or a spectator sounds entirely a game bug, not a microphone settings issue.
