Why vote Mello?

What is the point of having Mello if almost all lobbies are going to vote them out?

Okay Yes Mello is useful if you can control him and use him but once he kills the follower you throw him out if your in Team L and your winning in Progression by alot arrest Mello if Team Kira is winning by alot you need to keep Mello. Once the Follower is out, Kira will mostly be killing criminal in secret while Mello is in play and will not try to steal Id while Mello will just keep killing investigator allowing bigger gap for Kira to kill criminals.

What People don't seem to get is as Investigator you are a Meat Shield for L. If someone is chasing someone you don't do task you follow that chase. Having one id stolen allows Team Kira to hide the Notebook having 2 Id Stolen make it harder 3+ Ids stolen is GG for Kira under default setting since the follower will either be jailed or Kira will be caught.

this i was in a game i was L i am not good leading blah blah anyways i was in the park with everyone and mellow comes up and claims he narrow down to two people me and another guy (who was kira) and he didn't want to take the shot cause he thinks one of us is L so he comes up to me asking me to prove i was L i asked how i know your mollow?

i denied that i was L and i asked why aren't you asking the other guy if hes L everyone was getting on my case and told me just do it so i finally said well you said u have a 50/50 take the shot everyone of course told me i was a idiot blah mollow finally took the shot kira wins and everyone blamed me i told everyone that if i did we stil lost they are like better for him to win than kira cause it would be like a tie i didn't say anymore but if that was the case then wouldn't been better if time out and i can prove i am L

Very hard to understand, but what I got out of that, you can’t defend yourself and cost your team the game. If someone says their mello almost always believe them. If they aren’t mello they will die, if they are, and you don’t listen, you will die.

Your grammar is horrible, but that’s not the point. You need to realize, you have to take risks in the game. Mello wants to win, if you are making yourself suspicious, that’s your own fault. If someone says their gonna shoot you, tell them your L.

Only Eurosissies vote out Mello. I'm third Mello and when i'm L, I give Kira to Mello for public execution.

Mello is his own team. He is an enemy of both L and Kira. If Mello wins, everyone else loses. Part of the difficulty of Mello is staying hidden, and part of the difficulty of L is deciding if and when to arrest Mello.
