IMHO, paying $10 for this game doesn't get you anything, because it currently only have 1 game mode + 1 map, while you need to buy all the cosmetic stuffs that were sold separately, which is no different than playing a free-to-play game.
Besides, I really doubt Death Note's IP is astronomically expensive like Marvel, Star Wars, or other more popular brands, to the point that Bamco needs to put an initial price tag on the base game, or when they put it on Sony's PS+ for guaranteed money, since it's a very old IP that doesn't have any continuation or whatsoever, and the last "big" news was it somehow getting a Netflix adaptation, which can either be a good news, or bad news, lol.
Have you even played the game at all? Most people are playing on PS, where the game was literally for free on PS+. Don't always trust your Steamcharts or whatever
