Gamebreaking Glitch as Kira Follower

I am not entirely sure what causes it, but more often than not I am unable to use the Death Note if Kira tries to give it to me. I suspect it could potentially be because I play on PC? Others seem to encounter the issue far less.

I think it's a p2p issue.

I've encountered this issue before. You can notice it's happening immediately if you see normal Investigation tasks on your map.
So I think it's a bug where you're marked in the game's data as an Investigator somehow despite being designated as a Kira Follower so you're not allowed to use the Death Note. I've even seen it go so far as to put me over on the L side and give me victory XP despite the tag designating me as a Kira Follower.

That's really weird. Is there some way we can properly report this bug?
