What, no 1920x1080?

Most PopCap games are casual-oriented, with lower-end compatible specs in mind, so they often don't have higher resolutions. I haven't seen a 1920x1080 option for this game.

I was able to modify the registry to get Monopoly running at 1920x1080 in a window, full screen would not take. As expected, visual anomalies occur in some places (e.g. menus), because the game was not designed with a 1920x1080 resolution in mind. Still testing for stability.

so this game doesn't run full screen 1080p. i will pass. thank you for the info so I wouldn't get mad later.

To force 1920x1080 in a window, edit Monopoly's "option.windowed" registry entries.

This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it.

Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Monopoly

The binary data you will modify is:

option.windowed.height ( change the binary data to: 38 04 00 00 )

and:

option.windowed.width ( change the binary data to: 80 07 00 00 )

after making the above changes, restart Monopoly. The changes should then be applied.
