What is the best country to play with?

i really need help i played this game for a lot of hours and didn't won any campign yet so i just have a simple question what is the best country to play with?

Russia or USA is a good place to start, lots of resources, lots of man power, and easy to recover if you make mistakes. United Kingdom is also a good choice, but youll have to fight in Europe, Africa, and Asia alone for a while, making it much harder.

The bigger - and more developed - countries tend to get involved in war sooner or later, so if you just want to learn the very bacis mechanics through trial and error, Switzerland is a good choice. But if you just want to go to war, then go for one of the bigger countries: USSR, USA, UK, Germany or even France. I once tried to play as France, the result became that World War II ended in early 1940 because I managed to go Blitzkrieg on Germany.

The most easy to play with, i think it's germany because you've got a powerfull industry and it's not boring : you go early to war !!!

USSR is a great starting point because of the industry and sheer manpower and territory you have

If you are looking for the feel of a large country, but want to avoid the war, I would recommend Brazil or Argentina.

France. Leave alliance 1936, Germany will then move all their armies from the border to poland. Again rejoin with Alliance in 1938 and go to war. :) You will win, and have alot of ic to attack soviet. Good luck.

Italy is really a hidden beast, as them you can avoid allying with the Axis and still conquer Yugoslavia, Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary, and scraps of Republican Spain before joining Germany to take on France... along with the scripted Ethiopia and Albania invasions.

Playing as the UK, Japan or USA means needing to manage a Navy at the beginnong, picking a country on the EurAsia landmass means you can postpone that (I find navy managment a bit tedious) clearly the strongest are USSR or Germany but you have to put up with a pic of Stalin or Hitler looking at you. After that (as in 1936) everyone else os much weaker and needs to buddy up to do well (unless you really know what you are doing) outside Europe there are few independent countries that have the resources to do much. Finally, much of Europe is scripted, try and go to war before 1939 and you will find its the great war all over again as everyone declares war on each other, but if you are small, the bigger counties will outbuild you. My fvourite? Nationalist China, (easy when you know how). There is no real difference in ability in the game of USSR, Germany or UK, dont choose Poland unless you know what you are doing.

germany haha they have some strong ass troops but you just need to build up your navy if you truly want to accomplish anything
