Patch 1.3a/b

After hours of playing , just realised the game was in patch 1.2. Shouldn't the official patch be 1.3a or 1.3b? (Heard that 1.3b is incompatible with steam) Is there any way for steam or me to fix this issue?

I read your guide , thanks for helping but Im not good at computer stuff , what do you mean by extract file and overwrite everything?

Follow this for extracting the files, then you move the extracted files inside the HoI2 folder and when prompt press YES to overwrite.

Hmm So I extracted the file into the "Hearts Of Iron 2 Complete Doomsday folder" , Clicked
"all files/folders in current folder" and "Overwrite Existing files" , did I do something wrong here?
Or should I have extracted it into "Hearts of iron 2 complete folder"?

I tried extracting into the "Hearts of iron 2 complete folder" , no error came up , but after launching hearts of iron arma , the version on the main menu is still 1.2(PHVR)

Verifiy the game cache files because you probably messed something out now, then extract the content in an empty folder and then move the content inside the doomsday folder.

Did what you wrote , still couldn't work , I tried to redownload hearts of iron 2 complete , BUT now steam download is being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥. It will start downloading and paused immediately.
I even set on high pirioty and my Dota 2 still takes more pirioty. One problem after another...........

Welp. I installed 1.3b then ran the HD/Widescreen mod as instructed, and Arma now crashes at scenario launch. There are no longer any scenarios presented for Hoi2. Additionally I created a custom resolution for my system at the suggested height, and attempted to run it windowed. No dice.

Sounds like an idiot question but how do I find the damned HOI2 folder to extract to.

I am sorry, could you please advise where we can have the update of Armageddon 1.3 ?
It seems that Steam doesn't update it from 1.2 to 1.3 automatically.
