Doomsday & Armageddon

I bought this game understanding that Doomsday and Armageddon came with it. Does it have these two expansions? If so how do you access them. I click on the shortcut and it doesn't give me any options to choose Dommsday or Armageddon!

It should be when you choose scenarios.

I have the same problem, do what? any help?

Launch the game in steam, then it will popup a window and let u choose "Launch HOI II complete"or "Launch HOI2 Armageddon

Dont run, run time error in Armagedoon, dont open. and HOI2 end in 1948, dont have a patch, NO TIME LIMIT in this game. And no suport for steam.

This doesnt work, when i launch from steam it takes me directly to HOI2. please advice.

I'm having the same problem, even if I use the executable (HoI2) from the doomsday directory I still don't have the option to start the 1945 scenario.

OK this is what worked for me. I hope this works for everyone else!

- Go into the Doomsday folder, right click on HoI2.exe and select Properties.

-Click on the Compatibility tab. Put a check in Reduced color mode and select 16-bit color.

- Click on Compatibility Mode and select Windows 7.

- DO NOT check "run as administrator". I made that mistake and you just go into the regular game.

- You have to start the game in Steam by selecting Launch HOI2 Armageddon.

Thank you so much pitfall317. I can now play Armageddon! BTW I assume that if I want to install patches that I can do that in the Doomsday folder in the Steam folder on my PC. Is that right?

Also anyone know how to make the screen wide screen?

I noticed no difference between doing the compatible stuff and not, but launching from my game library, instead of the shortcut steam icon I could pick launch doomsday. A shame I cant pick armageddon from the shortcut from steam.

I've also been having problems getting to play Armageddon.

I was able to play the game last night by going into the Steam icon on my computer instead of the HOI2 icon and got the option to launch Armageddon. I had that option all of one day. It's gone now.

I don't know if there's a connection or not, but just before I played Armageddon I would see an exe pop-up. Today when I saw I no longer had the game option I ran Microsoft security scanner and they removed a file they identified as infected.

I know I like the doomsday game myself.
