Edit: found the bug! It would transform tiles between 4 open tiles into another open tile, but not mark it as the special "Arsenal". Then, since it's in another area, it would get overwritten as a Aerospaces (or whatever) tile, and stepping on those triggers the area transition. Will be fixed in next update, thank you so much for reporting!
Glad I could help find a bug! This has been one of the most enjoyable games so far :)
Also I noticed something that may be a bug (actually, 2 things):
1.I reloaded my savefile after the softlock, and NPC shops seemed to have been resetted, meaning you could trade all over again, and their dialogue and quest seemed to be resetted too (not a big deal if you've finished it since you have the item in your bag).
2. The uh, red area (probably the forge or something, I can't remember for now, sorry) has its lava all turned to water, and I'm not sure if that's intentional.
Thanks for the game :)
(The save file changing is definitely weird, by the way, as it never happened to me before... maybe something got corrupted along the way.)
Edit: patch for your softlock is live.
Oh also, my apologies, but I think there's probably one more thing I haven't mentioned.
Sometimes I just get a "Template Weapon" That just looks like a normal Wrench, and once you drop it and close your bag, it just reappears in it. I often have to throw the thing into an used weaponizer to get rid of it. If it's fine, could you also look into it?
Thanks again.
I have no idea how it happened actually. Sometimes when I'm picking up an item it would just appear as a template weapon.
It uses other item's sprites sometimes (as I check my bag after I pick up an item. It has used the sprite of a brownie once, or either it was picked up with a brownie.)
I'll try to see if I can reproduce it.
