please for the love of all unholy things fix mod mismatch

i understand it might not be as easy as it is, but please please please fix this, the game has become unplayable ever since character manager was discontinued in favor of their own system that does not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work it seems, every time, i try to play it's can't challenge this can't be challenged that, and no matter how many times i delete character cache, uninstall all mods, then open the game, then delete the cache AGAIN, then reinstall all mods, then delete cache yet again, then re open the game because deleting the cache for some reason closes my game, no matter how many times i do that, still, not a single challenge received or gone through

just, please, fix this, i love this game, i want to play this game, but the game is actively making it impossible to play

can't the update just be rolled back and let us use the character manager mod like we did before ? it worked just fine, i dont understand why they changed it, dont fix what ain't broke

any way, rant over, if you do have solutions, please let me know, i'd take any solution

same, can't play a game without deleting cache like 3 times and it seems to work just randomly.

plus the update broke a lot of custom chara, they start with half life, if the game even start.

hope it get fixed soon.

Even when there isn't a mod mismatch with everyone, it's still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ IMPOSSIBLE to find anyone using modded characters. I have played more of the base game characters in the past few days than I have throughout my entire playtime of this game

So for me i uninstalled multi hustle and it fixed everything

I fixed it by right clicking the game in the library, going to properties > beta > then changing the game to version 1.8.6

sadly, no one else is doing that, so i can't find any lobies to play in

yes, but as per my post, the new version broke the game, and made it impossible to find people to fight because of stupid mod missmatch errors

Yea i know 1.9 is busted but isnt 1.8.23 Newer than 1.8.6? Or am i mistaken?
