yomi lagging during matches but only if lanched threw steam

if i launch yomi threw steam it lags really bad when doing single or multiplayer but if i
launch yomi with the launcher its fine no problems

Hmm, do you think it might be the steam overlay causing it?

nope tried that like navigating the menu is fine but once i start a match the game just keeps freezing over and over again like its stuttering

OH. This probably isn't your issue, but just in case:
Click the arrow at the bottom of the screen and turn off the setting that pauses on the turn/afterimage frames. I've noticed my game stutters during the afterimage frame pause, too.

Also, be aware that Godot engine can lag on certain CPUs seemingly, like the FX-8350. Ran into this with another game.
