Penumbra 3?

I would love to see another game in this series, I prefer Penumbra's setting over Amnesia's. Glowstick FTW! =P
Requiem doesn't really count as the third game in the series, more of a spin-off, or DLC to Black Plague.

I preferred Penumbra over Amnesia, only in the sense of the protagonist though.
I found that Philip, although practically defenseless, fought to the bitter end, and told a friend to destroy them all, just to be spiteful.
To that end, I don't think Penumbra will have another one coming, unless the next game is about the person that Philip emailed at the end of Black Plague.

Well, Requiem was always more so an 'add-on' to Black Plague. Anyhow, like the TC, I preferred Penumbra to Amnesia.

Penumbra 3 is not going to happen. Frictional Games couldn't even be bothered to make an Amnesia sequel (thechineseroom is making it). Last I heard, Frictional Games is now busy working on console games. It was only a matter of time, eh?

What, I need solid sources on this =o. I can't see thechineseroom working on a Machine for Pigs solo, that would be absurd. Frictional have never been interested in consoles, and they don't have a fat publisher to force them to do it either.

Frictional Games and The Chinese Room are working in a collaboration for AMFP. Frictional Games is not interested in consoles, though they might port them to the consoles in the future, which I think would be a bad decision.

Also, Frictional is an indie studio. I don't think they'd have the budget to make ports.

Disappointing is a bit of an understatement, for me. Requiem shat the bed. I'm fine if they move on from the Penumbra series and let TheChineseRoom make more Amnesia games in different settings. Amnesia and Penumbra are basically the same game, anyway, so who cares. Give or take a few minor details, you can't distinguish them apart through game-play. Can't wait to play A Machine for Pigs this Oct. Stoked. Also curious to see what FrictionalGames comes up with for consoles. Should be good.

Requiem is like the justine dlc for amneisa its a little add on. But amnesia is getting a another game so penumbra may also get a third game lets hope .

I hope everyday for a Penumbra 3! Really loved Overture and Black Plague I finished both. I did not finish requiem though as they told me it sucked plus I do not like DLCs at all. ♥♥♥♥ amnesia anyway Penumbra is the real deal. I hope after amnesia 2 they make Penumbra 3. Does anyone recommend me to play requiem guys? I didn't like the concept of it at all perhaps I need to give it a second chance later who knows....

That's very unlikely. FG might make a game related to The Archaic, but I highly doubt that they'll release an actual sequel

I'm also starting to wonder if I'm the only human being that loved Requiem... :(
