Look for lines like this.

<Screen Width="xxxx" Height="xxxx" FullScreen="true" Vsync="true" />

And change it to your screens size, as for it working flawlessly...maybe maybe not, it's a big stretch from the default values.

all i see is this cant find SETTINGS.CFG

It should be \Documents\Penumbra\Black Plague At least that's where mine is. Look for another folder called frictionalgames/

i found config file but it doesnt show screen width height options !!!!!! Arrgghhhhhh

Trap it DID NOT WORK ??? I MADE THE ADJUSTMENTS AND ITS STILL BLURRED AT 1920X1080P

Change both of these configs

C:\Users\username\Documents\Penumbra\Black Plague

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Penumbra Black Plague\redist\config (default_settings)

If that doesn't work, maybe the game just can't run at that high of resoulution.

It's a pretty old game, even 1080p is asking a lot let along 4k.

Hey Rat Trap, I have the same issue. I tried changing the settings to 1080 too and now i cant see even my cursor. Is there a way to restore to default (since Ive tried doing it your way and still doesnt work) or what? thanks buddy

Nvm, figured it out, had to use word to open up the config file and did it from there. Works now :)
