Hey everyone! Welcome to the Unrailed 2 FAQs 😊

Q. How long will Unrailed 2 be in Early Access?
A. We cannot give a definite timeline yet as we’ll be collecting feedback from our community to make the game a super fun experience. Our first game, Unrailed! was in Early Access for roughly a year, and we think Unrailed 2 will be similar.

Q. How many players does Unrailed 2 support?
A. You can play with up to 4 players in endless mode, 8 players in VS mode (4v4) and you can also play singleplayer. If you play singleplayer, you can either play alone or with our trusty robot friend Ada.

Q. How can I play with a friend?
A. Once you’re in the main hub go to ‘Play’ > you can either ‘New Game’ for you and your friends, or if a friend has already created a lobby and has a ‘Session ID’ go to ‘Join Game’ > ‘List Lobbies’ and enter the Session ID in there to be taken to one your friend has already created.

Q. Will Unrailed 2 support Steam Remote Play?
A. Yes!

Q. Will there be game saves in Early Access? If so, will the game save automatically after every station/biome, or something else?
A. You can create a save game as the host of a session at any time (via menu -> Save and quit to lobby). Note that saves can be loaded only once, similar to U1. However, using the toy engine, you can restart at every station once you crash.

Q. Can I play using a controller?
A. Yes! Unrailed 2 is playable with a controller, or mouse and keyboard.

Q. Is Unrailed 2 Steam Deck verified?
A. The game is now officially Steam Deck verified!

Q. How can I report any bugs?
A. The best way to report bugs to us is through our Discord or in the Steam sub-forum called Bug Reports.

Q. Will Unrailed 2 be coming to consoles?
A. We’re currently focusing on bringing Unrailed 2 to Steam for Early Access, adding more content and bug fixing, and then looking into consoles later on. Stay tuned for the latest updates in our Discord or on our social channels.
