Network Communication Error

I just downloaded the game District 187: Sin Streets on Steam. Every time I try to start the game, Netmarble launcher starts, but an error window shows up saying this:
"Network Communication Error

We're having trouble connecting to the internet

Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again."

But my internet connection is completely working. I tried searching for solutions in some other forums but didn't find anything that works for me. I have already tried allowing cookies and enabling active scripts in Internet Explorer and made it the default browser, like some people suggested in other forums, but didn't work either.
Everything is working fine, my internet is connected, Steam is working properly, the only problem is the annoying window that comes up every time the Netmarble launcher starts, although the login window in the back has already loaded. I can't click on the login because of this window; this is a screenshot I took:

restart your steam will fix it..

When I openned Steam today and started the game, it started Netmarble Launcher again, and this time, it seemed to work so I was able to create my account. But It doesn't start the main game, it's just another window with links for the game download and stuff. So I decided to restart my Steam again, and launch the game; this time, the same "Network Communication Error" appears, and I can't start the game anymore. Please help...

I just tried verifying integrity of game chache and it says "1 file failed to verify and will be reaquired." What should I do, or should I do anything?? Cause steam doesn't seem to do anything about it.

And what do I do to launch the main game, if I'm able to somehow start Netmarble Launcher properly??? I have already downloaded the whole 566MB of the game on Steam, and I don't want to download it again from the main site, which seems to be only thing that is available for me to be done in the Netmarble Launcher window.

that window that pops up for you and give permission for the Stean join your account in district 187

Ive been playing the game like a week now and the same problem just appeared. Internet is just fine on my end.
Anyone figured it out yet?

Try this:

Please check this path and remove any files left over after you have uninstalled the game:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\District 187

After that, re-install and launch.
