Time to prepare my mate for intersections! xD
I only found this out today, so I'm not sure how many other people know about story intersecting. Just making sure everyone knows how. Unfortunately up until now, there hasn't been many posts that say how it's done.
Yep it can be done, but both players have to be in the exact same difficulty settings that's how player intersections work.
That's why it's hard to intersect too.
Attack reaction matters, infinite ammo matters and agent hunt too. It's really, really bad that it works like this, specially for PC players that have less players already and were in disadvantage to have the game much time later.
For Piers and Chris to intersect in Chapter 2 of their stage. Chapter 1-4 "In front of city hall" and intersectiion can only happen. When one of you is playing as Piers, the other Sherry, the same goes for Chris, if you choose Chris have your friend join as Jake, an intersection should take place. Just make sure you're on the same difficulty level.
The Dinosaur scene with Leon, Helena and Ada. One player has to be playing as Leon the other Ada, Intersection will not happen if you're Helena, unless the Helena player has an Leon player with them.
Ada, Quad Tower. One player must be controlling Helena, the other Ada. Playing as Leon will not get an intersection, unless someone is playing as Helena
When intersecting each others campaign's you can use unlimited ammo, if you want, the intersection has no effect on either campaign. So Ada can play with unlimited option on while Leon has the unlimited ammo option off.
One other Intersection, Ada's sniping spot helping Jake and Sherry. One player must be controlling Ada, the other Jake, Sherry will not get an intersection, unless Sherry has a Jake player. Only way for a 4 way intersection is if Ada has Agent with her.
Edit: I found out this works, but you cannot do back to back intersections, when you do one with a friend you'll have to wait a few minutes or so until you can intersect with your friend again.
