Controller Problem

Hey guys,

I've got a problem..
In the last time I've played RE6 with my x360 gamepad and everything worked fine...
But today i wanted to play RE6 and i noticed that the controller is switching immediatly when i press button..
For example:
If i press B, the screen is not showing the "B" from my x360 Gamepad, no it is showing A number 2...
Does somebody can help me?

ich hab da so'n problem..
in der Letzten zeit habe ich RE6 immer mit einem x360 gamepad gespielt weil ich halt so besser zocken kann...Heute wollte ich zocken und habe etwas bemerkt:
Wenn ich z.B Auf meinem Gamepad B drücken will dann zeigt mir ganz plötzlich RE6 nicht mehr B auf dem Bildschirm an sondern eine 2?!

Was jemand wie man das wegmachen könnte? Es stört einfach nur?
Ach ja zu bemerken ist: In den Controllerinstellungen werden 2 Controller angezeigt obwohl nur einer (der x360 Controller) angeschlossen ist.
Der 1. Controller ist halt der x360 in Re6 und der zweite angezeigte heißt: Pad 1.

It's actually very easy to fix this,just go to "My computer" "control panel" "system" "Hardware" "device manager" "Human interface device" and deactivate the "HID-compliant game controller"(you have to turn you joystick on so this option appears)And if you're going to use it for any other thing later don't foget to active the HID-compliant game controller again(Sorry if this was a bit complicated,my OS is not in english)

Is your 360 controller detected properly in other games that you use it with?

I have the same (kinda) Problem when i connect my PS4 controller with my PC when i what to play. other games work just fine with the DS4 Tool but RE6. every time i start the game it switches between Xbox input and HID input and when i try to reconfigurate the buttons manually the game soft crashes (playing sounds and background animation like normal but refuses to accept any input from my keyboard/Mouse/Controller) . i am really frustrated because every other game is working with my controller and i dont want do refund the game thought it was expensive at the time -.-

btw Katsune's answer did not help me as the controller is completely gone if i deactivate the HID-compliant...

I'm having the same exact problem

I had the same problem with my PS4 controller but I found a solution on Reddit. If you are using DS4Windows, go to your settings and check the box "Hide DS4 controller". It worked for me.

Friend fix the configuration of the gamepad 360. Or else buy another but that is pc osea with usb.
Ami happened to me something similar did not take the buttons or anything so I did not have another option to buy me a pc with usb and I work exelente obviously you have to configure it

Do NOT try this. It could lead to a system crash and the driver being deleted from your system, and a restore point won't fix THAT issue.

DO NOT DO THIS, I made a mistake and tried it, now I cant connect my controller, every time i turn it on I get a blue screen on windows and boom, RESTART
