It's not dead. There is a really retarded bug concerning the game where you can only find games with people that are using the same Steam download region as you, ie; US - Dallas, US - Houston, etc.

I don't doubt that the recent 1.04 patch didin't fix the problem with matchmaking, however, at the moment I cannot test this. I will say this though: I can see through the community hub that there are at least 717 or so people playing the game. yet no matter what mode I search, I do not find a single game in the lobby of any of the extra content. this is a common story at all times of the day, mind you.

all the more as the patch update notes did not even mention fixing the region bug specifically. you think such a large issue with the game would be adressed directly. remember that the patch notes update only state "Added new options to the session search function".

I'll post my findings once I am able to test how many on my friends list can see the lobbyies I can put up, and vice versa

Hmm, I also get the problem of not being able to see any games in matchmaking. Changing Steam download region did slightly improve it (instead of zero games, I could see 2 or 3), but it's still pretty bad.

Nobody is playing online because of how incredibly stupid the menu is set up, every step towards trying to get into a match is a pain in the ♥♥♥♥.

CAPCOM could easily fix it by simple adding a proper ALL-GAME MODE wide serverbrowser, instead of splitting every single mode into its own menu and hide it under dozens of unecessary menu clicks.Oh, and it doesn't help that it defaults to ''region'' instead of worldwide

Yeah, that makes it a bit harder. Still, the download region bug was fixed, so anyone that uses that as an excuse needs to stop.

I know I stopped playing Agent Hunt until the Event ends because there's a surge of noob players playing on Amateur with Infinite Magnum. Absolutly no class.

When you activate Agent Hunt, players should know that it's an additionnal challenge to the game. Getting 1-hit killed then seeing Agents spamming their magnums on dead bodies... lol

Most of the event players play as Jake or Sherry on Chapter 4. Even if it would be Leon, players choose Chapter 4 and there's no hunt on this chapter. So it's mostly Jake noobs who can take 10 sword hit in the face without ever healing. They get chaingun'd and knocked down over and over. It's hilarious to watch from behind a prop.

This game rocks my socks off, and I wiiiiiish more people played it, and I wiiiiiiiish more games showed up. I've just looked and, worldwide, on the campaign, there's not a single game up. :( I might just host.
